I've decided to tell you a story about an old woman who decides to do all the things she never could.

July 14th 2009
"Mom? No you want some water?" She said "No." I replied "Are you sure? you haven't touched any food or drink all day" "No. I'm just going to have a talk with your father and then we can go ok?" "Sure mom" It was about four in the afternoon and the cold dry air was getting to me. I didn't want to be here, but my kids insisted. "You know John, we were together for 65 years and yet I feel like it was all for nothing. Not to be rude or anything, but let's be honest did you really love me? Yes. Did I really love you? No. What we had was a contract to secure our futures. Your dad was mayor and mine the sheriff. I thought that I could learn to love you and appreciate you. I thank you very much for the moral and financial support, but what we had was....... how should I put this? I never loved you and well you didn't care as long as I stayed with you. I did that and now it's my time to shine. We never traveled or got our college educations, we just lived and breathed through life. I am going to France next week and I'm going to have fun the way I planned before I met you. Goodbye John. Do tell my folks I say hello." "mom are you ready to go? They want to put dad in the car now."My daughter said "Take him away." I said
